Jody's Ring

18k white gold and diamonds, approx 3 carat total weight

Jody and her husband just had their 15th wedding anniversary. She had a beautiful wedding and engagement band that was a mix of diamonds and emeralds- but like most of us, her style has changed over the decade. She came to me with the two bands and some extra diamonds that she had.  She really wanted to incorporate some of the sparkle into her new ring design. After tossing around some ideas, we decided that if her husband was OK with it, we'd save the emeralds for another project (her birthstone and also her daughters) and just go with diamonds. Well, her husband agreed (happy wife happy life), and with the addition of two more princess cut diamonds, this is the design that was the winner. For such a large ring, Jody keeps remarking on how comfortable it is to wear. It always makes me happy to see gems on someone's hand instead of in a safety deposit or jewelry box!
