Carol's Necklace

Carol's every changing necklace- sterling silver, snow globe agate and onyx

Colin approached me at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival and asked if I could make his wife an anniversary present. He wanted a neck piece but something more elaborate that what I usually make. I went to University with his wife Carol who is a graphic designer and glass blower among other creative passions. Keeping that in mind, I designed a neckpiece that isn't static and allows Carol to be a co-creator of the jewelry. Each piece of the necklace is removable, so Carol can switch things around or just wear a couple of the elements at a time. I also included a longer chain to even add more options for wearing it. I hope she has as much fun wearing it as I did making it!
